Alerts are used to notify you when a sensor reading reaches a specified threshold. For example, you can receive notification any time the temperature exceeds 75 degrees.
To create a new alert, select "Rules" from the menu bar, "Rules", "Default Rule Group," then "Add Rule" and "Alerts." Choose the sensor you want to trigger the event. "Time of Day" will restrict the alert to either "Day Only" or "Night Only" or you can make the alert valid "All Day".
Set the threshold you want to receive notification. A plain English description of the rule is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Choose "Save" at the top of the screen to save the rule.
