Hydropods, Inc., a Denver-based technology company, today announced that it has launched its retail strategy, starting by distributing its Grow Controllers to hydroponic retailers in its local market of Denver, Colorado.

Hydropods recently introduced the Hydropods Environment Controller, a cloud-based Wi-Fi Controller that enables growers to see, monitor, and control a grow operation from anywhere using their smartphone.

The Hydropods Environment Controller monitors humidity, temperature, and CO2. With two included Remote Power Blocks, it can wirelessly control two devices, such as lighting, air conditioning, humidifier, or an exhaust fan. The system can be expanded with additional modules available from Hydropods, including cameras, remote temperature/humidity/light sensors, and additional Power Blocks.

“Our customers like to consult with salespeople and be able to touch the product before buying,” says Ted Tanner, CEO of Hydropods. “We’re launching in our hometown first to make sure the salespeople have the training and support they need, but we will be adding additional markets quickly over the coming months.”
