Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Seema enjoyed her childhood with her older brother and younger sister. Her father, Prakash, was an electrical engineer, and her mother, Prameela, was a school teacher. Seema had a love for competitive sports, especially badminton, cycling, and anything outdoors.
As she got older, she developed a passion for agriculture. She was fascinated with plant genetics, especially developing drought-resistant crops, so she focused her education on agriculture when it was time to go to college. While studying, Seema worked for a large, commercial greenhouse working with environmental controls as an Agricultural Coordinator. After earning her BS in Agriculture, she continued her education and earned her Master's degree in Agricultural Biotechnology in 2006. After graduating, she and her entire family moved to the US.
Now living in Castle Rock, Co., she's a dedicated mother of three, is continuing her education, and is earning another Master's degree in Organizational Management at CSU. Her experience and education made her the perfect fit for Growlink, and in July of 2021, Seema was hired as a Software QA Analyst.
Her favorite thing about working for Growlink is "Getting the opportunity to work in my passion industry to help farmers and working to advance agricultural technology." She also appreciates the flexibility of working from home occasionally, allowing her to spend more time with her family.
When Seema isn't working or taking care of her kids, you can find her spending time with her large, extended family, dancing, hiking, playing board games, or cooking.
